Three STARIS Interns Join the Project
Three students join the project this semester as part of the St Andrews Research Internship Scheme (STARIS):
Final year student Orla Williamson (French, German and Spanish) will be translating a French summary of a late medieval French chanson de geste (Maugis d’Aigremont) that will make this text accessible to our collaborating authors and storytellers.
Second year students Tom Rippon (English and French) and Koushiki Alagaratnam (Comparative Literature, French and German) will be assisting with the project’s upcoming workshop on ‘Children’s Literature, Race, and the Middle Ages: Practical and Ethical Contexts’ (19 Feb 2022), funded by the Royal Society of Edinburgh. They will also be producing website materials for the project.
